What is the SHEEX Sleep Week?

In honor of Sleep Awareness Week, SHEEX aims to help everyone find a deeper, more restorative sleep. Our goal is to spread awareness by sharing daily tips (& exclusive deals) to help you sleep better. We're sharing everything we know, from tips for better sleep surrounding Daylight Savings to the best length of time for naps. We challenge you to add these tips and tricks to your routine and see how your sleep improves in just a few days or even that night!

What is the Sleep Awareness Week?

The National Sleep Foundation launched Sleep Awareness Week in 1998. Their website describes the week as a “national public education campaign that celebrates sleep health and encourages the public to prioritize sleep to improve health and well-being. The campaign commences with the beginning of Daylight Saving Time.”

While we all adapt to the slight change that Daylight Savings brings, we welcome longer days and sometimes struggle to settle back into a routine. Much like The National Sleep Foundation, during this week, the sleep experts at SHEEX wish to provide helpful information on all things sleep.

Who are we?

In 2007, Co-Founders Michelle Marciniak and Susan Walvius had the idea to make sheets that were just as comfortable as the athletic gear they wore playing and coaching basketball. And so, they made that dream a reality, forever changing the bedding landscape.

SHEEX fabrics are engineered with SLEEP•FIT® Technology that wicks moisture away from your skin through capillary action ensuring advanced breathability and heat transfer while providing a cool-to-the-touch feeling. In other words, SHEEX bedding innovations help you sleep better by regulating your temperature and keeping you comfortable all night long. SHEEX owns the night, so you can own your day.

We welcome everyone to join us as we embark on our annual Sleep Week 2024. Begin your journey to better sleep on March 10th!
