Inaugural Event Held During World Mental Health Weekend to Benefit Alcott Center's Fisher Place


MARLTON, NJ –October 8, 2020 – SHEEX® Inc., the world’s first performance fabric bedding and sleepwear company with globally patented technology, has teamed with Relief Bed and Serta to provide a Sleep Makeover for Fisher Place in Los Angeles and will also participate in the virtual benefit.

Joely Fisher and Brad Garrett will host the special Pajama Jam to raise money for Fisher Place on Sun., Oct. 11, 2020, starting at 8 pm ET. Guests will enjoy entertainment from hosts Fisher and Garrett, as well as appearances from many celebrity friends, musical performances, a live auction, a silent auction, raffle, and a fabulous virtual after-party from 9- 9:30 pm ET.

Best known for their Performance Sleep System made from must-have technical performance cooling fabrics including sheets, duvets, coverlets, comforters, mattress pads, mattress protectors, pillows, mattresses and sleepwear, SHEEX joins SERTA and Relief Bed in supplying new SERTA Mattresses and SHEEX bedding and pillows to provide a refreshed environment for the residents of the Fisher Place.

The trio of companies will also contribute auction items for the raffle, including mattresses, sleep accessories, pajamas, sheet sets, pillowcases, and sleep masks.

In 2019, Alcott Center opened Fisher Place, a bridge housing facility located in the south-central area of Los Angeles. Fisher Place houses men with mental health issues who have been redirected from incarceration into the care of the Alcott Center. While living at Fisher Place, residents are provided both mental and traditional health care services and assistance with finding permanent housing. Fisher Place is supported by the generosity of actress/director/mental health advocate Joely Fisher and the Fisher Family.
